NM Court of Appeals Schedules May 19 Hearing

The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Thursday, May 19. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 am.

A three-judge panel will preside: Judge Jonathan B. Sutin (`63), Chief Judge Cynthia A. Fry ('81), and Judge Roderick Kennedy.

Plaintiff-Appellant challenges the trial court's finding that the Voter Action Act requires that the Secretary of State to refer the issue to the Attorney General, as well as the finding that criminal charges by the State after civil penalties from the Secretary of State constitutes double jeopardy.
