NM Court of Appeals Schedules August 22, 10:00 AM Hearing

The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Monday, August 22, 2016. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 A.M.
A three-judge panel will preside: Judge Jonathan B. Sutin (’63), Judge Roderick Kennedy, and Judge Stephen G. French.
Following are the details of the case:
CECILIA TAFOYA and CHARLES TAFOYA, Plaintiffs-Appellants, represented by Jane B. Yohalem
vs.
PAMELA MORRISON and LEON MORRISON, Defendants-Appellees, represented by Joseph L. Werntz
Plaintiffs-Appellants sought to establish an easement of access to their backyard over the driveway located on land owned by Defendants-Appellees. They appeal from a grant of summary judgment by the district court dismissing all of their claims based on the doctrines of res judicata and collateral estoppel.
