The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Monday, January 26, 2015. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 A.M.
A three-judge panel will preside: Judge Michael E. Vigil, Judge Linda M. Vanzi (’95), and Judge Timothy L. Garcia (’84)

Plaintiffs-Appellants assert that the City of Albuquerque breached its contractual obligations to them by not following the City Personnel Rules and Regulations when it hired or promoted other M14 supervisors in the Solid Waste Department with the same title, position and duties as Plaintiffs-Appellants at a higher rate of pay than Plaintiffs. Plaintiffs-Appellants request review of the District Court’s decision that the Personnel Rules and Regulations did not create a contract with Plaintiffs-Appellants and that the Plaintiffs-Appellants have not suffered harm.
