NM Court of Appeals Schedules July 19 Hearing

The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Friday, July 19, 2013. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 a.m.
A three-judge panel will preside: Judge Cynthia A. Fry ('81), Judge Timothy L. Garcia ('84), Judge J. Miles Hanisee.
Following are the details of the case:

vs.
ALBUQUERQUE BERNALILLO COUNTY WATER UTILITY AUTHORITY, Respondent-Appellee, represented by Nann M. Winter
Appellants state that the trial court erred when it ruled that the Water Authority's Labor Management Relations Ordinance (LMRO) is entitled to grandfather status under the Public Employees' Bargaining Act; the trial court erred when it ruled that the “impasse procedure” in the Water Authority's LMRO does not violate the Public Employees' Bargaining Act; and the trial court erred when it ruled that the matter was subject to dismissal under the doctrine of mootness.
