New Mexico Court of Appeals to Hear Oral Arguments at Law School

The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the UNM School of Law on August 18 in the moot courtroom. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 2 p.m.
A three-judge panel will preside: Judge Jonathan Sutin, Judge James Wechsler and Judge Michael Bustamante.

vs.
ARDENT HEALTH SERVICES, LLC, and LOVELACE HEALTH SYSTEM, INC., Defendants-Appellants, represented Edward R. Ricco, John M. Bryant, and Jocelyn Drennan
Defendants-Appellants, claiming immunity under the federal Health Care Quality Improvement Act, seek reversal of an order denying Defendants motion for summary judgment that would have dismissed Plaintiff-Appellee’s claim for damages arising of termination of his medical staff privileges.
