NM Court of Appeals Schedules March 28 Hearing

The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 am.

A three-judge panel will preside: Judge James J. Wechsler, Judge Jonathan B. Sutin (`63), and Judge J. Miles Hanisee.

PUEBLO OF SAN FELIPE, a Federally Recognized Indian Tribe, Defendant-Appellant represented by Samuel D. Gollis, Gwenellen P. Janov

Defendant-Appellant seeks to have the trial court’s exercise of jurisdiction over the Pueblo reversed on the grounds of sovereign immunity.
