NM Court of Appeals Schedules February 19, 10:00 AM Hearing

The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Thursday, February 19, 2015. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 A.M.
A three-judge panel will preside: Judge Cynthia A. Fry (’81), Judge Michael E. Vigil, and Judge M. Monica Zamora (’87).

No. CV 2009-10130, in which the district court held unconstitutional the “farm and ranch laborer” exemption from coverage in Section 52-1-6(a), and the ruling of the Court of Appeals that “the WCA is bound by the district court’s ruling” must govern his subsequent workers’ compensation appeal.
