NM Court of Appeals Schedules August 22 Hearing

The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Tuesday, August 22, 2011. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 am.

A three-judge panel will preside: Judge Michael D. Bustamante (’74), Judge Cynthia A. Fry (’81), and Judge Michael E. Vigil.

Following are the details of the case:

Intervenor-Appellant seeks a declaration on whether the indemnity agreement between defendant-appellant contractor and a subcontractor requires the sub-contractor’s insurance company to defend the contractor in a legal action arising out of the injury of one of the subcontractor’s employees under NMSA 1978 §56-7-1.
