NM Appeals Court Schedules Jan. 19 Hearing

The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Wednesday, January 19. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 am.

A three-judge panel will preside: Chief Judge Cynthia A. Fry ('81), Judge Jonathan B. Sutin (`63), and Judge Robert E. Robles ('75)

Following are the details of the case:

vs.

CLK Managments, Inc., f/k/a BAT Services, Inc. and Cash Advance Network, Inc., Defendants-Appellants, represented by Jennifer G. Anderson, Emil J. Kiehne, Susan Verbonitz, Conly J. Schulte, Joseph F. Messineo, Frances C. Bassett

Defendants-Appellants seek to have the denial of their Motion to Compel Arbitration and Stay Court Proceeding overturned, while the Plaintiffs-Appellees contend that it is inappropriate to compel arbitration in a potential class-action law suit.
